Counselling, one of the talking therapies, offers people an opportunity to explore their lives and relationships in depth, and then to find new ways of living, more freedom of choice where desired.
We sometimes experience feelings and situations which we are unable to share with friends or family, but which we need to talk about in complete confidentiality. Your counsellor is prepared to provide you with a safe and confidential space, away from daily life, to do so. The counsellor neither judges nor advises you, but supports your autonomy. Counselling can, over time, enable you to experience relief, make life changes, and to be reconciled with things that cannot be changed. |

Counselling Sessions
We will schedule an initial assessment session in order to see if we would like to work together. At this session we can decide on time and frequency of meetings and on fees.
Short-term or Long-term? We can agree to a set number of sessions (6-12), or look
to open-ended counselling with periodic reviews. As the
client you are always free to decide on the duration of
counselling.
Sessions - Sessions are of 50 minutes, and generally are held weekly at the same time.
Availability - Appointments can be made for daytime and evenings, depending on availability.
Fees - Fees are discussed at the first meeting, and range from £ 35 to £ 50 per hour.
